Pedersen Livestock Sires
Just a few of the Black Angus walking sires we have been using in our herd.

If you have any questions regarding our cattle or would like more information, please contact us.
Brooking Rise is backed by one of the most ideal cow families there is in the Angus industry. His dam and Granddam are two of the most attractive yet bold ribbed and wide topped females you will ever see. When we are on the hunt for herd sires one of the most important boxes for us to check is the maternal power behind them. Rise fits that bill to a tee. He himself is very sound from the ground up and proud fronted. Packs the herd bull character in a massive ribbed big topped package. His sons are stamped with the same look and character. He will make a larger impact in years to come in the bull pen and the herd.
Espionage came from the Hamilton program after being a member of their Denver pen of three. We had to stretch hard to get him bought as one of the features and high sellers at $30,000, but has proven to be a good choice. He is a moderate, soft made bull that is very easy fleshing. He has proven to be a very efficient breeder, working at two places each year being co-owned with Clifford Land and Cattle. He has proven to be a consistent calving ease sire whose calves come with a short gestation. Sired by the Agribition Champion bull, G-Man, and out of an amazing donor for Hamilton’s in the Tibbie 102W cow.
Merit Kingsman 8030F
While on the Saskatchewan Angus summer tour in 2018 I found a calf that was extremely attractive and as balanced as I have seen. That fall I made the return trip to Southern Saskatchewan to see how he had developed out and knew we had to own him. Partnering up with Macnab Angus we got him bought as the high seller for $40,000. Kingsman is a very mild mannered, easy keeping individual who has been admired by all that have seen him. Backed by the most prominent cow families at Merit, and Range Boss, one of the more popular sires in Canada the last few years. He has bred extremely well for us and very consistent in the quality and type. His calves are good footed, moderate, and easy fleshing. They are soft haired and very easy to handle. Daughters that we sold this past fall were very well received and were high sellers at the Form and Function sale. He is the sire of the Merit Kingpin that was the high seller for Merit last spring, commanding over $60,000. Kingsman’s first daughters are calving now and the final question on his true quality seems to be answered and he surely did not disappoint. Unfortunately, Kingsman was injured last breeding season and his genetics will only be available through AI now.
Watch for calves from these bulls in 2023!
